Superstar Afrobeats singer, Davido has started receiving dragging from trolls on popular microblogging platform X following the way he spelled “Happy Mother’s Day”.
May 12th 2024 was Mother’s Day across the world. Mother’s Day usually falls on the second Sunday in the month of May.
However, social media users, socialites, celebrities have taken to their various pages on social media platforms to celebrate their mothers, grandmothers as well as their wives.
Just liker others, Davido took to his verified page on X formerly called Twitter to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Celebrating the Mother’s day, Davido wrote; “Hapoy Mother’s Day !” instead of writing “Happy Mother’s Day.”
This mistake by Davido stirs mixed reactions, while some see it as typographical error, others drags the singer to filth.
An X user while mocking Davido wrote; “English you no sabi, Music zéro, omo watin you really good at?.”
He added; “i for correct that your rubbísh English but you get money pass me.”
