Rema has taken to social media to react as his hit song, Calm Down Remix becomes the first Afrobeats song to hit a billion streams.

However, the famous Nigerian singer has finally joined the billions club on Spotify following his song dubed “Calm Down” featuring American singer Selena Gomez. This achievement marks the first time an African artist–led track has racked up a billion streams on Spotify.

Taking to his Instagram page, Rema beams with so much joy following his latest feat. He further thanks Selena Gomez and her team, as well as everyone involved in making the “Calm Down” remix a global success.
