Portable meets Peter Obi, laments receiving nothing in return

Popular Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, shares his experience after meeting with Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

The encounter, which took place at a private event, has quickly gained attention, with Portable expressing admiration for Obi’s leadership and vision for Nigeria.

Portable, known for his vibrant personality and unfiltered style, shared his excitement over meeting the prominent politician.

In a series of posts shared on social media, the “Zazuu” crooner praised Obi’s commitment to the Nigerian people, while discussing his aspirations and views on national issues.

“Today, I met a great man, someone who is ready to take Nigeria to the next level. Peter Obi is a man of the people, and I’m happy to have this opportunity to connect with him,” Portable said in one of the videos posted on his Instagram page.

In another video, Portable lamented that he received no cash rewards from the politician while comparing him to the president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.

“Let’s be going, Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go,” he stated.
