Darlington Okoye, who is well known as Speed Darlington, has taken to social media to express his displeasure with a neighborhood church which is located in Lagos’ Ajah district.
The controversial rapper, who is fondly referred to as “Akpi,” blasted the church for upsetting his tranquil atmosphere and causing a commotion.
The outspoken artist, in a video he posted online, expressed his anger with the church’s constant loudness.
In his words;
“See this church wey no dey let me sleep, starting from over there, only five people got a car in this church…Christianity wey person don de attend for decades, only five people got a car. Everyday noise. All that prayer na leg dem dey use to the church.”

In other news, Brig.- Gen Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) has said that the scheme will empower corp members with funds for their business ideas.
The NYSC DG made this known while addressing Corps members at Benue State Orientation Camp in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area of the State.
According to him, the scheme has partnered with many stakeholders that will provide loans for the young men and women to get their businesses operational. Also, he advised corps members to serve their fatherland as good representatives of their families, institutions and the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.
Ahmed further admonished them to uphold the ideals of the Scheme as laid by its founding fathers by being patriotic, selfless and loyal to constituted authorities, advising the Corps members to relate very well with their host communities and leave indelible footprints of good memories.
He said;
“Be ready to participate in SAED post-camp training and equip yourselves with skills that will make you financially independent.
“We have partnered with many stakeholders that will give you loans that will enable you to finance your business ideas. Protect your integrity, be diligent, adhere to NYSC dress code and be security conscious at all times”.
In his remarks, NYSC Benue State Orientation, Abe Dankaro Ashumate said the Corps members have been highly enthusiastic and well disciplined since they arrived at the camp.
