The Nollywood entertainment industry is thrown into a state of mourning once again as legendary actor Olu Jacobs passes away after battling a protracted illness.
Movie producer Stanley Ontop broke the tragic news on his official Instagram page some minutes ago. The 81-year-old actor, whose birthday was supposed to be in a few weeks, was battling Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) over a long period of time.
He shared photos of the late actor with the caption:Ā āVeteran Actor Sir Olu Jacob passes On after long battling illness. Rest with the lord sir. Be with the lord. Shalom.ā
It is worth noting that Nollywood also lost veteran actress Stella Ikwuegbu after a prolonged battle with leg cancer some weeks ago.
