Pete Edochie, has seemingly reacted to the controversy surrounding his son, Yul Edochie’s marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.
However, this comes in the wake of reports that Yul’s first wife, May, has officially filed for divorce and is demanding N100 million in damages from Yul and Judy for alleged adultery. Also, she filed a restraining order, preventing Yul from accessing their former matrimonial home.
Since Nollywood actor, Yul and actress Judy made their marriage public last year and announced the birth of their child, they have been the subject of intense discussions and criticism on social media.
Yul continues to face heat over his actions and social media posts following the tragic death of his first son, Kambili, with his first wife.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, indirectly spoke on his son’s marital saga through a proverb.
Pete asserted that Yul brought all the negativity upon himself by bringing an ‘infested firewood’, referring to Judy Austin, into his home.
In his words,
“He who goes to the farm and gets ant-infested firewoods (amongst all the good firewoods in the farm) shouldn’t be surprised when Lizards start paying him a visit.”
